O.R.A. #1

When I started reading the book Forget You, by Jennifer Echols, I thought that the beginning was very intriguing and kept wanting me to read more. Page one; the first sentence of the book says, “Every strong swimmer has a story about nearly drowning. This is mine:” With just these first couple of sentences it makes you wonder what Zoey-the main character’s story was. After reading a third of the book I was very pleased. I am able to relate to the main character when she is not able to see one her family members for an extensive amount of time, I like this book even more now that I can relate to it. Another thing that I really like about this story is that there is many things going on, love; like Zoey getting a new boyfriend Brandon, tragedies; by her and her friend getting into a car accident, and even some gloomy times like when Zoey’s father doesn’t treat her like his daughter but just as an actual person. I predict that something is going to happen to Zoey and Brandon’s relationship for the worse of things. I can’t wait to read more and see what happens.
